Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia : A railway official says three people were killed and at least 20 injured when a train plunged into a river in a Malaysian state on Borneo island.
Hamzah Mamat, a spokesman for Sabah Railways, says the train is believed to have skidded off the wet tracks Wednesday before plummeting into the Padas river in eastern Sabah state.
He says rescue workers have found three bodies in the train, the Associated Press reported.
