Kanpur : Stroke-filled half-centuries by Sourav Ganguly and V.V.S. Laxman saw India end the second day of the third and last cricket Test with a slender 23 runs lead with their last pair at the crease at 288 for nine in their first innings in reply to South Africa’s 265 here at the Green Park Stadium Saturday.
Ganguly for the second successive Test innings got out at 87 while Laxman made 50. At stumps, Sreesanth was batting on nine and Ishant Sharma yet to open his account.
