NATO reports two more soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Kabul : Two troopers of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) were killed and as many wounded in a bomb explosion in southern Afghanistan Wednesday morning, said the military alliance.

“Two ISAF soldiers were killed and two were wounded during an explosion in southern Afghanistan early this morning,” said a statement released from NATO’s headquarters here this morning.

The statement did not give details about the exact location of the blast, nationalities of those killed and injured, or condition of those injured.

The statement said names and nationalities of the victims are only to be revealed by the concerned countries.

Two NATO soldiers were killed in a bomb blast in the same southern region two days back.
