Jeddah : The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has expressed strong condemnation over the crime committed yesterday by Israel against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, which claimed many innocent lives, including children and journalists. “This has again demonstrated Israel’s disdain for international law and its insistence on committing war crimes and violating the Fourth Geneva Convention, and thus calls for urgent international action to stop this carnage and violations,” he said in a statement.
Prof. Ihsanoglu called on the United Nations Security Council and Secretary General to act urgently to stop the Israeli aggression and to take measures to protect the Palestinian people from Israel’s assault and state terrorism against Palestinian civilians.
