Thiruvananthapuram : All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy – and Kerala’s techies are no dullards. More than 15,000 techies working at Technopark here are taking time off their routine to sing, dance, play games and participate in quizzes as part of an annual fest.
The six-day ‘Tech-A-Break 2008’ cultural fest was inaugurated by state Sports and Youth Affairs Minister M. Vijayakumar at Technopark Monday evening.
Till Saturday, the techies will take part in various competitions in singing, dancing, games and quiz conducted by noted cricket commentator Charu Sharma.
The event will be concluded with a grand concert by the famous band Benett featuring play back sensation Karthik Kumar, pop singer Shalini and others.
Prizes will be given to winning teams in various competitions and the company with the maximum points will go home with the Champions Cup.
