Mumbai : The Indian equities market ended in red Wednesday. The 30-share benchmark of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index (Sensex) opened at 16,823.99 points and touched a high of 16,871.27 before closing at 16,698.04 points. It went down by 85.83 points at the day’s close or 0.51 percent.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) S&P Nifty, which opened at 5044.35 points, closed at 5022.80 points. It went down by 26.40 points or 0.52 percent.
