Citing the example of opening of Srinagar Muzaffarabad road, Mehbooba said, “Just like Srinagar -Muzaffarabad bus service these demands of party will be implemented” adding these are not stunts to get votes in polls.”

Mehbooba who was addressing one day party convention at Pattan Baramulla said that her party is optimistic about these demands.

While welcoming the announcement of Prime Minster about implementation of Working Group (WG) recommendations, Mehbooba said that hopefully other recommendations which include safe passage of youth, revocation of AFSPA and troop withdrawal would also be implemented likewise in the near future.

“When we advocated rehabilitant for kin of militants, some elements were saying that PDP is talking language of militants. The announcement of rehabilitation package for orphans of militants by PM vindicated that what we talk is genuine,” claimed Mehbooba.

Mocking at National Conference, she said that by criticizing her party for not providing two jobs per family is unwanted and trash as they have signed ban on government jobs with New Delhi.

“What they criticize has no logic behind they shoot in dark and are betraying people with their false propagation,” said she.

“In our three years tenure we tried our level best to generate employment avenues by asking private mobile companies to start their business this has minimized unemployment. What our party did in 3 years with 16 MLAs NC couldn’t do it in 30 years with Sixty MLAs in power,” she said.

She further said that the uniting of both sides of Kashmir would pave way for the solution of Kashmir issue.

MLC Nizamuddin Bhat and Senior Vice President Molvi Iftikhar Ansari also addressed the gathering.
