Baghdad : A car bomb went off in the northern district of Adhamiyah in Baghdad on Sunday, killing at least seven people and wounding 14 others, an Interior Ministry source said.
“A booby-trapped car parked near a passport office in the Magrib Street detonated in the morning, killing at least seven civilians and wounding 14 others,” the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Sporadic attacks continue in Baghdad despite the U.S. and Iraqi officials’ announcement of a relative lull in violence during the past months.
