Colombo : Pakistan’s Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Sunday met President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan and expressed hope that it will help remove misunderstandings between the two countries.
After a meeting on the sidelines of the Saarc summit, the Prime Minister said “it was a very successful meeting, held in a very cordial atmosphere.”
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed the hope that “definitely there will be an end to the blame game” that soured the ties between the two countries, according to a report of the Associated Press of Pakistan.
