He said his party workers in the Bahraich district had informed the police about a cow slaughter incident Aug 1 but no action was taken.

“Now, we are planning to organise a rally in Bahraich to protest against the police administration.”

T

wo gunny bags containing animal flesh were found in Materna Kalan village of Bahraich district Aug 1.

Although BJP workers alleged that the bags contained cow meat, the police did not register a case, claiming that the flesh was not of cow.

The BJP leader also accused the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance of not making enough efforts to collect evidences against Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), which he alleged was responsible for the recent blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.
