Bhopal : The Madhya Pradesh government Wednesday unveiled its Youth Policy-2008 which emphasizes on economic and social empowerment of the state’s youth.
The policy was approved by the state cabinet headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Wednesday evening. The policy includes special efforts to provide better job skills and employment opportunities under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan during middle and secondary education.
The employment-oriented courses offered by the sports and youth welfare department would be extended to the divisional level as well. The policy pays special attention to leadership development among youth.
