The missile was allegedly fired from a predator plane and targeted at the restive North Waziristan tribal agency on the Afghan border, the official Associate Press of Pakistan quoted officials as saying.

The house hit by the missile was believed to be the hideouts of local Taliban.

This is the second missile attack within two days in Pakistan’s tribal region. On Saturday, four persons were killed and two injured in a similar missile attack in South Waziristan tribal agency.

The U.S.-led coalition forces have been blamed for cross-border attacks against the local Taliban on Pakistan’s soil.
