Talking to PTV in “Good Morning” programme he asked Indian government to stop blaming Pakistan for the Mumbai attacks.

Instead of wasting time on a blame game, Pakistan and India should launch joint efforts to combat terrorism because New Delhi alone could not eliminate it, he said.

“We must make a combined effort to deal with the problem and at the same time help the government and people in coming out of the crisis of terrorism,” he said.

Shahid Hussain said,”We do not think that wars can solve problems. Terrorism is the common issue of Pakistan and India. Terrorists and extremists are threat to innocent and peace loving people of three countries”, he said.

He said that terrorists are trying to destabilize the region by deteriorating mutual relationship and harming economy of the region.

“We should launch joint struggle and take decisions after thorough deliberation. Peace not war is in favour of entire region”.

Minister said that leaders from all political parties would participate in the National Security Conference called by the Prime Minister, and this will send a message to the world that Pakistani Nation is united and fully determined to face every challenge.
