Azamgarh youth sent to police remand as Delhi blast suspect

New Delhi: Mohammad Talaha, son of Azamgarh’s renowned personality Maulana Aamir Rashadi, has now been sent to police remand in Nagpur today. He was nabbed by an ATS team at Nagpur railway station around 11:30 pm on Saturday.

Talking to TwoCircles.net yesterday Maulana Aamir Rashadi, who is director of madrasa Jamiatur Rashad in Azamgarh, had said his son Talha was going to Hyderabad in Patna-Sikanderabad express to join his office in Hyderabad. Talha has been working with India’s leading IT company Wipro for the last three years. He had come to Azamgarh on Eid-ul-Azha vacation.

Giving details of the incident Maulana Rashadi had told TCN that his son was travelling in AC coach of Patna-Sikandarabad Express. On way he met some of his friends in the train. They were coming from Patna. They were travelling in Sleeper Class. He came to his friends and ate together. At Nagpur Station he and one of his friends alighted to fetch water. All of a sudden 4-5 people appeared and picked him, he shouted but they gagged him. When his friend shouted at them they punched him down and threatened to kill. They were ATS people. Soon they got disappeared with Talha in the darkness. Those persons were perhaps were travelling or following him in the same train.”

Talha has been with Wipro for three years. He served at the company for two years in Delhi and this January, after clearing an internal test at the company, he was shifted to Hyderabad as financial analyst.

Now a Times of India report says that Talha was arrested on Sunday night by an ATS team at Nagpur railway station for his alleged involvement in Delhi serial blasts. The police have reportedly recovered from him a nine mm pistol and a few rounds of ammunition. Talha was produced before Railway Magistrae S P Pawar who sent him to police custody till January 3.
