Total candidates: 393
Women candidates: 31
Constituency with most candidates: Jammu West (34 candidates)
Constituency with least candidates: Chhamb (seven candidates)
Major parties in fray: Congress, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), National Conference, Bharatiya Janata Party and Bahujan Samaj Party.
Total Polling stations: 2,173
Number of electronic voting machines: 2,173
