Gaza : The death toll in Gaza rose to 271, while 900 are reported injured after the Israeli military operations on the Strip.
Local radio stations quoted the director-general of ambulance and emergency service in Gaza Moaweya Hasanain as saying that around 120 of the wounded are suffering from “serious injuries”, which means a possible rise in death toll.
He added that many of the dead are civilians, among them women and children, pointing out that hospitals of the Strip are suffering from a severe lack of medicines due to the Israeli siege on Gaza as they try to cope with this new catastrophe.
