Gambhir’s ton propels India to 267/4

Brisbane : Gautam Gambhir cracked the third century of his ODI career and Mahendra Singh Dhoni smashed an unbeaten 88 to propel India to 267 for four wickets in 50 overs against Sri Lanka in the Commonwealth Bank Triangular One-day Series at the Gabba here Tuesday.

Gambhir, who hit his second ton against the Emerald Islanders (102 not out, 101 balls, 10x4s, 1×6), and captain Dhoni (95 balls, 5x4s, 1×6) plundered 184 off 175 balls for the unbroken fifth wicket partnership. They scored an amazing 105 off the last 10 overs. For the Sri Lankans, Muttiah Muralitharan took two for 51.
