Gaza : A Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli air raid which targeted his car in the village of Beit Lehia in northern Gaza, a Palestinian source said Monday.
“The martyr’s name is Amer Qarmout, also known as Abul-Sa’ed,” the source told KUNA. It added that the dead man was an important member of the Popular Resistance Committees in Northern Gaza.
According to eyewitnesses, at least one Israeli rocket was fired against his car, where he was driving in company with some of his friends.
The car was fully destroyed by the rocket, the source said.
