Karachi : Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (Rtd) Abdul Qadir Halepota has, while taking notice of fire incidents in various parts of Karachi, particularly industrial areas, ordered immediate setting up of a committee, headed by DCO Karachi.
The committee will review the fire incidents in detail and prepare its report.
The Chief Minister directed all the concerned organisations to extend full support to the committee.
He also directed inspection of factories to ascertain whether effective steps had been taken or not to prevent fire eruptions.
Justice Halepota directed the committee to submit its report at the earliest.
