Abu Dhabi : Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas arrived on Sunday in United Arab Emirates within a tour his making in the region.
The Palestinian president will brief UAE’s president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nuhayyan on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and current developments in the Middle East, according to UAE news agency (WAM).
Abbas was received at the airport by Labour Minister Dr Ali bin Abdullah Al Kaabi, a number of senior officials and Khairy Al Aridi, Ambassador of Palestine, WAM said.
The Palestinian President is accompanied by a high ranking delegation, the members of which include Yasser Abed Rabbo, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Nabil Abu Radina, Media Advisor of the Palestinian President and a number of Palestinian officials, WAM added.
