A Congress team comprising of Krishna Tirath and Prabha Thakur visited Patan, about 130 km from here, and met the victim.

The girl, a first-year student of the Primary Teachers Training College, had Feb 4 alleged that six of her teachers had raped her 14 times in the past six months.

“Modi must step down after this incident,” Tirath told reporters here.

“We also demand a CBI inquiry in the matter,” she said.
