Four injured as students, police clash in Kerala

Kozhikode (Kerala) : Four people were injured Wednesday as protests by the students wing of the Congress against revision of education rules in Kerala turned violent.

Activists of Kerala Students Union (KSU) were protesting in Kozhikode and Kochi against the move by the state government to revise the Kerala Education Rules.

The police baton charged the activists who pelted stones at the cops while marching to the office of the deputy director of education here. One policeman was injured.

At Kochi also, the police used force to disperse the protestors following stone throwing. Tree activists were injured.
