New Delhi: Muslims and Muslim dominated areas are being targeted in the name of opposition to north Indians in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena (MNNS) has hatched a conspiracy to destroy the economy of Muslims in the state, said president of Muslim Political Council of India, Dr. Tasleem Ahmad Rahmani on 13th February. Dr. Rahmani visited Mumbai two days ago and during his visit, he observed that (MNNS) was trying to isolate Muslims politically and harm them financially.
The anti-Muslim conspiracy is evident from the fact that violent attacks were carried out in Muslim populated districts like Jalna, Prabhani, Nasik, Pune and Latur. Because of continued violence, taxi drivers, labourers and port workers are forced to migrate.
Dr Rahmani demanded the Union government to take immediate steps to keep the state from slipping into chaos at greater level. He urged the government to deploy RAF and CRPF there.
