Zardari, Nawaz agree to fight rigging on polling day

Lahore : Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has discussed upcoming polls, formation of government, protest movement in case of rigging with Pakistan Muslim League (N) Quaid and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Asif Zardari called on Nawaz Sharif at his residence which was the second meeting of the PPP Co-Chairman with the PML-N Quaid within last three days.

Nawaz Sharif welcomed Asif Zardari and the two leaders along with their parties leaders met.

The two leaders exchanged views about February 18 polls, strategy about protest movement in case of rigging in the forthcoming elections, contacts with other democratic powers.

Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif agreed on to foil all attempts of rigging on polling day and the leaders and workers of the two parties would cooperate with each others to exchange information to immediately inform observers and media.

It may be noted that Asif Zardari met Nawaz Sharif on February 13 and exchanged views about launching of movement in case of rigging and they also agreed on other meeting.
