Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA,Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here on Sunday that no direct talks took place between Iranian and US officials in Paris.
Talking to reporters during his weekly press briefing, he said the Paris meeting was about money laundering and officials from various world states including the US attended.
“All that was within the framework of this meeting,” Hosseini added.
“The meeting was aimed at looking into issues related to money laundering. This is an international forum and the United States is also a member of that international forum,” he said.
The meeting took place on January 29 and brought together representatives of 14 countries, including the US and Iran.
