Sri Lanka lose openers after opting to bat against India

Adelaide : Sri Lanka lost both openers Tillakaratne Dilshan (4) and Sanath Jayasiriya (0) early after they won the toss and opted to bat against India in the key eighth one-day international of the Commonwealth Bank triangular series here Tuesday.

India replaced medium pacer Sreesanth with all-rounder Parveen Kumar while Sri Lanka included Ishara Amerasinghe in place of Nuwan Kulasekara at the Adelaide Oval.

The match is important for both teams, as the loser will find it very difficult to reach the finals. The Australians are already assured of a berth there.
