The Disciplinary Control Central Committee, elected during the XVII party Congress celebrated last October, is in charge of carrying out this plan, said his leader, Hu Guoqiang.

The key for victory against official corruption is to place punishment and prevention at the same level, said Guoqiang, who is also member of the Party ó s Permanent Committee of the Politburo..

“We will take as much effort in punishing corrupt government employees due to misbehaviour as in establishing an anti-corruption system, which eradicates this phenomenon,” said Hu Guoqiang.

He also emphasized the need to intensify education among Party members to promote honest employees, loyal to the organization and to the Chinese people.

Leader Guoqiang, who spoke in a plenary session of the CCCD, said a number of supervisions and inspections will begin soon, in order to verify the implementation of the decisions and policies approved by the Congress in October.
