Two Palestinian activists killed in clashes with Israeli troops in Nablus

Ramallah : Two Palestinian activists affiliated with Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military of Fatah, were killed Thursday during armed clashes with the Israeli troops in Balata refugee camp, near Nablus.

According to Palestinian medical sources, the victims were identified as Maher Abu-Al-Rayes, 27, and Ahmad Al-Nadi, 32, while two others were injured and taken away by the Israeli Army.

The troops stormed Balata refugee camp and besieged a building being used by Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and by Al-Aqsa Brigades. Armed confrontations broke out and continued for several hours.

A member of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades had been killed yesterday and four others were injured by Israeli fire after exiting from the Palestinian security headquarters in the city of Nablus.

Meanwhile, the Israelis opened fire Wednesday at one of the locations were Palestinian activists were stations, killing three and detaining six others.
