Khwaja Hasan Nizami remembered

New Delhi: Hazrat Khwaja Hasan Nizami rendered selfless services for Urdu language and his daily journal ‘Manadi’ forcefully highlighted social, ethical and domestic values observed in Delhi. Member of Parliament Syed Shahabuddin expressed these views in a function held in memory of Shamsul Ulema Hazrat Khwaja Hasan Nizami, the portrayer of nature, at Khwaja Hall in Nizamuddin, New Delhi.

He proposed to prepare a collection of the master-pieces authored by Khwaja Hasan Nizami so that it could be known to the present generation and the community. This program was presided by Prof. Sharif Husain Qasimi and Khwaja Hasan Thani Nizami conducted it. Rafat Sarosh paid tribute to Khwaja Hasan Nizami and guests from Africa and America also participated in the program.

Referring to 1857, Prof. Azizuddin Hussain of Jamia Millia Islamia said Khwaja Hasan Nizami authored a large number of books that should be translated into English, Hindi and other languages so that facts become clear to the country and the community. Khwaja Hasan Thani Nizami said Khwaja Hasan Nizami was a famous Urdu writer, journalist, religious worker and a great Sufi. Asif Ali Fahmi submitted in his article that Hazrat Hasan Nizami was a towering journalist and litterateur. He was full of spirituality and also an scholar of Qur’an. Dr. Aqeel Ahmad, Akbar Ali, Shahid Mahmood and several others communicated their views on this occasion and a large number of gents and ladies from Nizami Brotherhood participated in the program that opened with the recitation of Qur’an by Qari Suleiman Qasimi.
