Damascus : Syrian Foreign Minister Waleed Al-Muallem discussed here yesterday with Ali Larenjani, the representative of the Islamic revolution at the supreme national security council in Iran, the latest developments of the situation in the Middle East, notably in Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Syrian news agency reported that the views of the two sides were identical and that the two countries will continue consultation and coordination.
Larenjani voiced Iran’s support to the efforts exerted by Syria to settle the Lebanese problem.
He called for exerting further efforts to settle the Lebanese problem.
