Sharm El-Sheikh : Kuwaiti Finance Minister Mustafa Al-Shimali lauded Tuesday the role of the Arab Planning Institute (API) in allowing greater cooperation and exchange of ideas and visions among Arab states.
Speaking to KUNA prior to departing from Egypt, where he participated in the API board of trustee’s meeting which wrapped up yesterday, he noted the efforts for development exerted by the institute.
He noted the achievements of API in all fields, saying that meetings focused on research and studies that would further enhance economic and social development in the Arab world.
A training program was placed by API last year, he said, and 446 Arabs from 18 countries completed it.
He expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality with which he was received in Egypt.
