Rio De Janeiro : Brazil’s health authorities confirmed four more cases of yellow fever in the country, which brought the total number of infections to 10 and the death toll to seven, Xinhua reported.
These were the worst scenario concerning the yellow fever in Brazil since 2003, when 64 cases were registered and 23 of the infected died.
Twelve cases are still being investigated. Further diagnosis has so far ruled out seven suspected cases.
One patient was confirmed dead from the fever on Wednesday.
