She further said that Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaz is one of those Sufis whose teachings, ideology and message were meant for entire humanity, not for a particular community. She congratulated the pilgrims and requested them to pray for the well-being and progress of entire country, saying that the objective of opening the camp and serving the pilgrims was to seek their blessings.

Delhi’s Industry Minister Mangat Ram Singhal said the camp is a magnificent example of our communal harmony.

Welcoming the pilgrims, Delhi’s Divisional Commissioner Nutan Guha Vishwas said that the arrangements have been made in the camp to provide vegetables, kerosene oil and milk at subsidized rate.

Besides, electricity, water, public lavatories, STD facilities, post office, dispensary, kitchen, ambulance, railway ticket counter and a temporary place of worship have been provided at the camp.

At the occasion, Urs Committee’s souvenir was also released.
