The sources said Israel closed the Sofa and Nahal Oz Crossing points between the Gaza Strip and Israel, adding that the closure of the crossing prevented more goods and fuels into the Gaza Strip.

On Monday, unknown militants fired a homemade rocket at the southern Israeli town of Sderot. No injuries or damages were reported, and no one claimed responsibility.

In response, Israeli Defense Forces decided to close down all Gaza crossing points until a further notice. Last week, Israel closed down Gaza crossing points also following more homemade rockets attacks on southern Israel.

The crossings were reopened on Sunday, where limited amounts of fuels and goods were allowed into Gaza.

On Thursday, June 19, Egypt-brokered truce, which is between Israel and Hamas movement, where Israel would stop attacks on Gaza and ease the blockade for ending rocket attacks on Israel, came into effect.
