Paris : French President Nicolas Sarkozy, whose country is chairing the EU Council, will be addressing the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Thursday, it was announced here Tuesday.
The French presidential palace, the Elysee, said in a statement that during his address, Sarkozy will be presenting the program of the French EU presidency for the upcoming six months.
The President of the European Council (Sarkozy) had shed light on the priorities for his countrys EU presidency, in which he made energy and immigration as his main focus, in addition to defence and agriculture reforms.
