Saffari said in statements to the local press, “The Iranian missile test, in addition to being a show for Iran’s military capabilities and preparations for any attacks, is also an assuring message for regional countries that they can be protected without the help of foreign forces.” Meanwhile, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Air Force Commander Hussein Salami said that his country’s answer to any foreign threats would be swift and destructive.

Salami said in similar statements that “what is being presented in maneuvers, is a small part of our missile and defense capabilities, and that our response to any threat will be massively destructive.” “We warn our enemies, if they try to threaten us through military maneuvers and psychological war, that we have our fingers on the trigger of thousands of missiles, to be launched anytime.” Iran launched medium-range and long-range missiles — Fateh, Zilzal, and Shihab I, II, and III — as part of its military maneuvers conducted around the Persian state with the aim of hiking combat capabilities.
