Ghaziabad/New Delhi, July 11 (IANS) Rajesh Talwar, who was set free by a Ghaziabad court Friday after being named a suspect in the murders of his daughter and domestic help, will be released from detention Saturday.
Sandeep Mittal, a relative of Talwar, told reporters outside Dasna Jail that, “Rajesh will be released Saturday”.
He said, “Rajesh could not be released from the jail today (Friday) because the court orders did not reach there by the designated time till 5.30 in the evening. But he will be released Saturday by 9 a.m.”
Accompanying Mittal to the jail, Talwar’s wife Nupur Talwar and other relatives were anxiously waiting for his release but their hopes were dashed when the jail authorities informed them about the jail rules. No prisoner or detainee is released from jail if the paper work for his release is not completed before dusk.
