Bangkok : Two bombs were triggered on Wednesday in Thailand’s southernmost province of Yala, but caused no casualties, police said.
The first bomb went off at near government office in the municipality while the second one was hidden in a car owned by superintendent of the municipality police office.
There are no reports of injuries, the Bangkok Post said on its website.
Thailand’s three southernmost provinces — Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani have been troubled with insurgency-related violence which has claimed more than 3,500 lives since it resumed in early 2004.
