The meeting, according to local Israeli radio, will take place in the Israeli presidential HQ in Jerusalem, which is to be Abbas’ first time ever at the HQ.
The meeting, the radio said, will be attended by senior Palestinian officials and chief Palestinian negotiator Dr. Saeb Ereikat will be among the officials attending.

“The two sides are expected to discuss ways of pushing the Palestinian-Israeli peace process forward through executing economic projects, as well as go over recent regional developments,” the radio reported.

Radio sources quoted Perez as saying “one of the desired goals of the meeting is to indicate to the Palestinian president as well as to the Palestinian people that negotiations with Israel will go on despite the instability of the political situation at present.”
