A Saudi national, resident of Makkah city, conducted the suicide attack because he wanted to take revenge of the innocent Muslims, said Mustafa Abu Al-Yazeed alias Sheikh Saeed, Al-Qaeda No.2 in an exclusive interview with a local news channel, .

The interview was conducted by Geo correspondent in Khost province of Afghanistan.

The interview footage showed the interview being conducted in a camp and the interviewer was flanked and surrounded by armed masked men.

In his first-ever interview in last five years, the Al-Qaeda leader briefly highlighted the agenda of Al-Qaeda terror network and expressed satisfaction on the networks performance in their fight against NATO forces in Afghanistan as well as the bordering areas.

He condemned Pakistan, particularly President Pervez Musharraf, for abandoning Taliban after 9/11. He also clearly stated that no Muslim country was currently supporting them because they are being headed by puppet leaders. He also called Afghan President Hamid Karzai as another puppet leader and claimed that All-Qaeda was behind assassination attempt on his life. He admitted that Al-Qaeda has intensified its activities in Afghanistan with the change of season. He said their main aim was topple of the Karzai government and withdrawal of allied forces from the war-ravaged country.

To a question, he said that Al-Qaeda is against both the American leaders and the people because, he added, the American leaders are elected by the American people. George Bush was re-elected by the American people when he had announced his war against Islam.
