Pakistan condemns terrorist attacks on Indian cities

New Delhi : Pakistan Saturday “strongly condemned the acts of terrorist violence” in the Indian cities of Ahmedabad and Bangalore on consecutive days that left 30 people dead.

“Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the acts of terrorist violence in the Indian cities of Ahmedabad and Bangalore,” a statement from the Pakistan High Commission here said.

“He expressed deep sympathies with the families of the bereaved and the victims of this dastardly act of senseless violence against innocent persons,” the statement added.

At least 17 blasts rocked Ahmedabad Saturday while India’s IT hub Bangalore suffered eight blasts Friday. At least 30 people have been killed and scores have been injured in the two terror attacks.
