Islamabad : At least seven people were killed Thursday when a house in Pakistan’s northwestern district of Swat was hit by shells in clashes between security forces and Taliban militants, according to a TV report.
Women and children were among those killed in the Deolai area of the Swat valley, Khyber TV reported.
Clashes between Taliban and security forces started Tuesday after insurgents killed three officials and kidnapped around 30 security personnel from a check post.
