Gulf naval commanders’ conference in July

Abu Dhabi : A maritime security conference of the navies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will be held next month in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) capital, WAM news agency reported Monday.

The Gulf Naval Commanders’ Conference (GNC) July 2 will be organised by the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA).

The theme of the conference will be maritime security of the Arabian Gulf.

The conference is being organised under the patronage of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces.

Besides the commanders and senior officers of the GCC navies, diplomats, experts and top defence industry executives would also attend the event.
