Under-19 cricket stars to train in Australia

New Delhi : Virat Kohli, Pradeep Sangwan and Tanmay Srivastava, who were part of India’s Under-19 World Cup winning squad this year, have been awarded the Border-Gavaskar scholarships for 2008.

They will undergo six weeks training at the Centre of Excellence in Brisbane, Australia.

Mumbai seamer Dhaval Kulkarni, who did well for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, has been also named for the training stint.

Dhaval’s trip is being sponsored by the Mumbai Cricket Association, under their recently-instituted Dilip Sardesai scholarship.

The quartet will leave for Brisbane Saturday.
