Shimla : Himachal Pradesh police personnel will now don a uniform with a new colour combination.
The Himachal Pradesh government Wednesday decided to change the colour of the police uniform, from the constable right up to the director general of police.
They will wear dark blue trousers, light blue shirt and blue beret.
For the past many years, the police department has been working on various colour combinations for the uniform.
Police officials believe that the new uniform colour is in vogue throughout the world.
