Ramallah : The Israeli army arrested 13 Palestinians all over the West Bank on Thursday, Israeli and Palestinian security sources said.
Palestinian security sources said Israeli soldiers stormed houses in the town of Nablus, searched the contents inside and arrested seven Palestinians for questioning.
The sources said the Israeli army forces erected new roadblocks around the town, stopped cars and searched them, noting that all over the West Bank, Israel set up over 600 checkpoints which blocked the people’s movement.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli soldiers arrested four Palestinians, including a Palestinian woman, said the sources, adding that two more Palestinians were arrested near Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.
Israeli Radio quoted Israeli army sources as saying that Israeli army operations in the West Bank are regular in a bid to search for wanted Palestinians involved in preparing attacks against Israel.
