Qassams hit Israeli factory, one killed

Jerusalem : Qassam rockets directly hit a factory in an Israeli kibbutz near the border with the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing one person.

One man suffered critical injuries and two others were lightly wounded in the attack in Kibbutz Nir Oz, a spokeswoman with Israel Defense Forces (IDF) told Xinhua.

Magen David Adom paramedics were rushing to the scene to treat the wounded.

On Tuesday, five people, including two foreign workers, sustained shrapnel injuries during a rocket attack on an Eshkol regional council community.

The IDF later hit a Palestinian terrorist as he was attempting to fire another Qassam toward the western Negev region, according to the spokesman.
