The talks will continue in camera to prevent any leakage to the mass media that could influence the course of the talks, CNN Turk TV channel reported Thursday.

The Syrian and Israeli negotiators agreed to resume the talks after reporting to their leaders on the results of the earlier talks.

The number of earlier rounds of talks is not known exactly but it is widely believed that the two sides have held several rounds in the last four months, the channel noted.

In May, Syria and Israel made public they were involved in the talks that focus on the Syrian Golan Heights which have been occupied by Israel since the Middle East War of 1967.
