Moussa told reporters that he will hold talks with Lebanese political leaders to hear their views of Lebanon’s future political situation and discuss with them the arrangements after the Doha deal on resolving Lebanese political standoff.

The AL chief voiced his confidence that the lingering problems on the formation of a new Lebanese government can be solved through dialogue among Lebanese groups.

Under the aegis of the Cairo-based pan-Arab bloc, Lebanese pro-and anti-government politicians reached an agreement in Doha on May 21, ending a 18-month-long political deadlock in the country.

The first phase of the agreement led to the election of Michel Suleiman as the new president on May 25 after six months of a presidential vacuum, while the second step is to form a national unity government.
