Baghdad : The Multi National Force in Iraq (MNF) has disclosed here that it released during the first five months of the year the largest number of detainees, estimated at 7,300.
A total of 1,799 Iraqi detainees were set free in May, it said in a statement here Thursday.
In 2007, a total of 8,956 detainees were set free, it added.
